STEP ONE
** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
** Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!
STEP TWO
** Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
NOW LET'S SEE IT!
1. I wish for everyone to have five mintues of happiness each day. So do me a favor and make yourself/someone else, happy for just a little while.
2. I wish for CJ to love me forever and ever so that when I'm rich and traveling the world, he can (if he wants) stay at home and cook delicious food for me to come home to.
3. I need donations too...I have NO money, living off homestay meals, and the last of my reserves (half a bag of pasta and tabasco sauce).
4. A small aquarium set... i really like fish, but i'd never be able to afford the stuff to make a functioning one...
5. Home made christmas cookies
6. Veggie/fruit smoothie recipes
7. Encouragement to do the right thing, at the right time, and to keep doing it.
8. An excersize buddy, someone who'll motivate me, and wants me to motivate them.
9. Cat food... money is really tight, if I didnt have to eat less to feed Lestat and Dresden, that would be great.
10. Snow
If you want to get me anything off that list, let me know by responding to the journal and I'll hook you up with some of my info. Merry Christmas!!!
if you read this, please post it in your own journal before you post here. then post telling my you posted it so i can go read it.
